Travel Trailer Rentals
Rental Reservations: Reservations must be made in person, by email, mail or faxed. No reservations will be accepted by telephone.
Deposit: To cover damages and late fees, a $300.00 deposit is required. $100.00 is due when you make the reservation the other $200.00 is due at the time of pick up.. A signed credit card imprint (excluding American Express) is also required at pickup. When the trailer is returned on time, clean and free of damage, the entire deposit will be refunded and the credit card imprint will be voided. A chart listing damage and clean-up fees is located in the rental office. Note: Certain events require a $500.00 deposit due to past history of excessive damage.
Cancellations: Cancellation notices must be received 7 DAYS PRIOR to the reservation date in order to receive a full refund.IF NOT, the $100.00 deposit is FORFEITED!
Insurance: The renter must show proof of liability insurance as well as a valid drivers license in order to pull the trailer. ALL DRIVERS MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD. If damage occurs while the renter is pulling the trailer, the renter is responsible for reporting those damages to their own liability insurance company. The renter is also responsible for damages to the unit while not in transit.
Propane Gas: A propane gas tank will be furnished at no charge. The renter will not be responsible for bringing the trailer back with a full propane tank. The renter will assume all responsibility for use of the propane.
Wiring: Rental trailers are equipped with electric brakes and a 7-way harness. All tow vehicles must be equipped with electric brake control units. If needed, we will install a 7-way plug and brake control unit for your vehicle for a fee. Please allow ample time for this process. Installment may be done at the time of pick up by appointment only. To schedule installment or to get an estimate, please contact our service department.
Hitch: Trailers must be pulled with a 2" frame mounted receiver hitch. The top of the hitch ball should be between 16" and 22" from the ground. We will furnish a hitch head with equalizer bars.
Hours of Service: Trailers should be PICKED UP Monday through Saturday from either 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. RENTALS MAY NOT BE PICKED UP ON SUNDAY. Rentals may be RETURNED Monday through Saturday from either 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or on Sunday by 4:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays but will check at 4:00pm to see that units were returned. The unit will not be checked in and deposits will not be refunded until Monday. Please make an appointment for either a morning pick-up or afternoon pick-up when you make a reservation.
Demonstration & Check out Procedure: Please be aware that it may take up to an hour to pick up the trailer to allow time for us to go through the trailer and demonstrate the operation of it. You will be required to sign an inspection sheet citing the condition of the trailer. If you see any damage, we will repair it or make a note of it so you will not be held responsible. If damage is not brought to our attention and noted on the inspection sheet during this walk-through, the renter will be held responsible for paying for the damage upon return of the RV.
Payment: Deposit and rent are to be paid in full either in advance or at time of pick up. Rent will be charged each night the unit is in possession of the renter. Rental day ends at 4:00 pm. Rental deposits that are made within 7 days of pick up must be paid by cash or credit card. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR TRAILERS BROUGHT BACK EARLY. If any part of the rent or deposit was paid by check, the deposits will not be refunded for 10 business days after the trailer is returned.
Equipment: The trailers are 28' long and weigh just under 4,500 pounds. All travel trailers are equipped with an air conditioner, 2-way refrigerator, furnace and 3-burner range with over microwave. Trailers also come with a full bathroom, including a shower. The wastewater holding tanks must be emptied and cleaned. (Self service is $10.00 and full service is $25.00) A dump station is available at Bennett's Camping Center.
Minimum Rental: There is a 4-night minimum on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. A 3-night minimum is required the rest of the year.
Nightly Rates: 28 ft trailers are $120.00 Per Night, $700.00 per Week and $100.00 per Night Thereafter.
